Common Problems And Solutions During PVC Foil/Film Vacuum Press Production Process

Phenomenon 1: PVC foil/film vacuuming process in the groove bubbling

Cause analysis:
1. The temperature or pressure does not meet the requirements, resulting in false suction;
2. The amount of glue is not enough, the amount of spraying is less or the plate is permeated;
3. Preheating (softening PVC foil/film) or blister time (forming time) is not enough;
4. After blister molding, in the case of temperature has not come down, the pressure is withdrawn.
5. The glue itself is not heat resistant enough.

Solutions:
1. Increase temperature or vacuum degree;
2. Increase sizing amount and choose good quality plate;
3. Increase the preheating or molding time;
4. After blister forming, the temperature is cooled to room temperature or slightly higher before withdrawing from vacuum.
5. Use with curing agent.

Phenomenon 2: PVC foil/film vacuuming process produces local bubbling

Cause analysis:
1. Uneven glue spraying, resulting in less local glue, so that the bond strength decreased;
2. The problem of PVC foil/film, PVC foil/film contains plasticizer, in the case of aging or heat, plasticizer is easy to migrate to the surface, affecting the bond strength;
3. The heating pipe in the vacuum press machine has problems, resulting in uneven temperature.

Solutions:
1. Try to make the amount of glue spray uniform;
2. Use good quality PVC foil/film;
3. Timely maintenance of equipment.
Phenomenon 3: PVC foil/film vacuuming process has a side suction or shrinkage phenomenon

Cause analysis:
1. When vacuuming, the side temperature is low or vacuum degree is not enough;
2. The temperature resistance of glue is not enough;
3. After blister molding, in the case of temperature has not come down, the pressure is withdrawn.

Solutions:
1. Increase the temperature or vacuum degree;
2. Use of curing agent;
3. After vacuuming forming, the temperature is cooled to room temperature or slightly higher before withdrawing from the vacuum.
